This 90 day process puts in place a discipline of continuously improving each manager's skills for accomplishing goals through others. Basically, management is getting things done through others. It is continually identifying the goals, inspiring others to accept them as theirs, planning together to achieve them, then executing and tracking them to successful attainment. This is called The Sequence of Management©. There are seven interlocking functions comprising this sequence: Leading, Communicating, Planning, Organizing, Resourcing, Implementing and Tracking. Managers must increase their effectiveness in each function as the challenges and goals of business are elevated. The process ensures that the measurable results stakeholders expect are achieved, by making managers continually more productive. Figuratively, as the bar is raised, managers and their team members are expanding their abilities to get over it. This is a two step program:

Step One
In the Management Process, the key leaders and managers first gain consensus then commitment to the company's goals and values. This is accomplished in strategic planning. At its best, it sets forth the vital goals and their priority. Managers then can ensure that the team is on track, by agreeing who will do what and when to achieve each goal. Measurements are put in place and follow-up is absolute, not optional.

Step Two
The managers, working in teams, now knowing clearly what goals must be accomplished in the business, identify and verify their personal management resources and strengths necessary for attaining them through others. Next, they develop and implement personal productivity action plans that will optimize, add to and improve upon these resources, strengths and their experiences. The goals in these action plans connect specifically to the seven management functions of leading through tracking. Progress toward them translates into managers being measurably more effective at leading their teams to greater heights.

The Management Process gains maximum benefit from diversity, experience, talent and skill. Each person's contribution can be measured, built upon, connected to and rewarded within the firms' compensation program. All managers from CEO to front line supervisors participate in the process.

The Management Process is a 90 day process that begins with a 360 degree review of each participant to provide insights into their strengths and weaknesses.  The cornerstone is a two-day workshop that managers from qualified companies attend in Dallas, Texas. The facilitators are current or past successful corporate CEOs. The fee is $2,500.00 per person. This is also offered as an in-house process for our larger clients once the top management is proficient in it. These are conducted at the clients' selected location and the fee is based on the number of participants with a maximum of eight participants. All fees are in U.S. funds.
